Altafulla a coastal town on the edge of the city of Tarragona, about 1h south of Barcelona.

AIRPORTS

Barcelona Airport will have the most flight options, and is 1 hour north of Altafulla.


Reus Airport is the small regional airport of Tarragona, that only operates in the summer on a few routes, but is under 30 minutes away from Altafulla.

From Barcelona Airport to Altafulla

By Train: Trains run every 30 minutes from Terminal 2 to Barcelonas main train station Estació de Sants. Here change to the regional train lines R14, R15 or R16. Costs under 10€ per person, and takes just 1.5h in total.


By Bus: BusPlana operates hourly buses that stop Altafulla on all routes. This route costs under 20€ per person, taking about 1 hour to Altafulla.


By Taxi: Altafulla is a 1 hour drive from Barcelona airport. You can pre-book a transfer via Booking.com, or head to the taxi queue outside the airport terminal. The ride will cost around 120€.


By Car: There are also plenty of car hire options available if you prefer the flexibility of having your own vehicle.

From Reus Airport to Altafulla

By Taxi: Altafulla is under a 30 minute drive from Reus Airport. You can pre-book a transfer via Booking.com, or head to the taxi queue outside the airport terminal. The ride will costs around €60.


By Car: There are a few car hire options available if you prefer the flexibility of having your own vehicle.

Getting Around

Once you’re in town, you won’t need any transport to get around — Altafulla is small and walkable, with beaches, restaurants, and sights all close by.
